Frequently asked questions
Can I add my partner and children to my subscription?
Yes. You can enroll your partner and children in Private Health Services. You’ll all share a single subscription, and your partner and children will be eligible for a reduced rate.
Payment is processed through the primary subscriber. Because health and medical information is sensitive, we ask family members to givetheir consent if the primary subscriber wishes to ask healthcare or health-related questions on their behalf.
Currently, your partner and children can only be added when you sign up for the subscription. It is not yet possible to do this at a later time. We are working on making this possible in the future.
What is the difference between Private Health Services and the healthcare advice provided by my health insurance company?
Many health insurers, including ONVZ, offer healthcare advice and assistance with wait times. This is valuable and falls within the coverage of your policy and the agreements your insurer has with healthcare providers. Private Health Services complements this in three ways:
- You have one dedicated Private Health Advisor, whom you get to know in advance and who remains the same for every question you have.
- Your advisor independently reviews all options, including those outside your policy and abroad, using proprietary data on the quality of more than 800 specialized practices across some 40 treatment areas.
- The support continues throughout the process: from your initial inquiry to your recovery, covering both care and health, including the administrative work.
Private Health Services does not replace your health insurance. Your health insurance ensures that your care is properly arranged; Private Health Services helps you make the choices that are right for you.
Can I also use Private Health Services while abroad?
Yes. Even if you’re abroad or considering seeking care abroad, you can contact your Private Health Advisor. The type of support available depends on your situation and healthcare needs. Your Private Health Advisor will be happy to help you figure things out.
